The Technology, Pharmaceutical and Local Industry Community (TIYSAT) successfully completed its 1st General Assembly on May 15, 2025, with strong participation from industry stakeholders. The event marked an important milestone for the organization with the formation of new management and supervisory boards.

At the general assembly, TIYSAT emphasized its goals of strengthening Turkey's position in the pharmaceutical industry, reducing import dependency, and contributing to the country's strategic independence. The organization announced that it will continue its work with stronger, more determined, and productive collaborations in the new period.

Among TIYSAT's main objectives are nationalizing Turkey's pharmaceutical auxiliary industry sector to reduce dependence on imports and making the national healthcare system more independent through local production. In this context, efforts are being made to develop innovative solutions by establishing effective cooperation between industry, universities, and the public sector, and to integrate these solutions into the industry.

Pharmaist International Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Technologies Fair, one of Turkey's most comprehensive life sciences organizations, is hosting a strategic partnership this year. The fair, which will be held at Istanbul Expo Center on June 18-20, 2025, is preparing to present a new vision with a strong collaboration with TIYSAT. TIYSAT's participation in the fair is considered an important step for the development of the pharmaceutical auxiliary industry in Turkey, strengthening local production, and increasing academia-industry integration.

TIYSAT, which will be featured at Pharmaist 2025 for the first time, will not only be a participant in the sector but also the organizer of numerous events that will create a platform for knowledge and cooperation. As part of the collaboration, special panels, talks, and innovative programs such as "Academia and Industry Meetings" will be held by TIYSAT throughout the fair. These events will address topics such as clustering strategies for pharmaceuticals and auxiliary industries, public support, R&D incentives, and university-industry collaborations. TIYSAT will also provide young researchers with opportunities to make sectoral presentations, receive mentorship, and directly contact industry professionals.

One of the most important missions that TIYSAT brings to the fair with the Pharmaist collaboration is to contribute to the commercialization of science and the development of a joint project culture. Especially the advisory board work carried out with universities, projects for young researchers, and international cooperation talks initiated with NGOs in Europe reinforce TIYSAT's vision in this field.

The collaboration between Artkim Exhibitions and TIYSAT this year aims to go beyond just fair participation and transform into a long-term industry partnership. Pharmaist 2025, organized with the support of the European Federation of Chemical Distributors (FECC) and the strategic partnership of the Chemists Association and the Chamber of Chemical Engineers, brings together all components of the pharmaceutical industry as it does every year, laying the groundwork for the development of high value-added products. The fair, strengthened by TIYSAT collaboration, aims to shape not only today's but also the future's pharmaceutical industry with local and innovative solutions.

The fair, organized by Artkim Exhibitions under the Life Sciences umbrella, brings together three important sectors: "Cosmetics & Home Care Ingredients," "Food & Nutritional Ingredients," and "Pharmaist." TIYSAT will host 3 panels specifically within the scope of Pharmaist.

TIYSAT and Artkim Exhibitions invite all stakeholders from the technology, pharmaceutical, and local industry sectors to participate in this important fair and events.
